This is the page that I need to update the most. A lot works I did after 2002 are not up here. What a shame. So here I am, putting up all the work I gave out. Every piece of work has a memory in it. The reason I don't put up work from my classroom is because I never took pictures of them.

In summer 2005, I also submitted some sketch for DTC jewelry in Taiwan. Not sure if my design fits the current flow of fashion in Taiwan, but I don't think it would be bad.

Gem: Aquamarine

This piece was supposed to give out a long long time ago. But never made my mind. The thrid piece I used gold. The gem stone on this is my favorite one, Aquamarine. Anyway, now I'm giving this piece out for her birthday present.

Made this ring while trying to fix Kassy's bracelet. It's a 10 min ring. Althought it took an hour. Sadly... she lost it >_<

Gem: Topaz

It's been a while since I made pendants again. Design is quite old style of mine. As told by my instructor, I have a confort zone with triangles. The stone setting took a while, mostly because I haven't done jewelry design for a whole year and half.

Date: March-2004
Gem: Cubic Zirconia

Not exactly sure of the date, but somewhere around then. It's an old pendant I made in summer 2002 along with all others I would say I worked the most during that summer.

To: Dina
Date: June-2003
Gem: Blue Topaz

A rare type of stone setting I have made. It was made during the semester for fun. Later I decided to give to her as a present since I don't have the energy to goto the workshop again and make a new one during the summer vacation.

Gem: Emerald

By far I would say the best pendant I ever made and the best gem stone I ever used (grade AA emerald). The design is two rectangles linked in between each other. and on top of each rectangle there are two gold plates. Still my favorite piece. Too bad the picture wasn't good. Another piece I use my 10K gold. There are a total of 3 pieces. The last one would be out later.

Gem: Garnet

I was going to use ruby for this piece, but the ruby I got has a really bad cutting; therefore, I switched to using a garnet I had for a while. The picture is not clear, but the front is silver and the back plate is 10K gold. This is the first piece I use gold with it.

Gem: Cubic Zirconia

These two should each match the other.... I suppose. These are for their 18th Birthday.... how nice.... huh?

To: Jenny
Date: Aug-23-2002
Gem: CZ

All these pieces are which cubic zirconia.... why?? because none of them told me their favorite color, so I suppose no one dislike clear right? Well, This one is for Jenny. Met her over the summer 2001 when I graduated from TAS and was in Berkeley....... nice nice girl to be around with... ^^ Made me felt much better in that summer... : )

Her birthday is on May-26..... I was planning to deliver a present, but then I didn't have time since I was busy with all the summer work and stuff. Even though I made a phone call, but I thought that wasn't enough, so I decided to make one as her birthday present........ well, it's a present, not really for b-day.

Emer's little sis. Why did I make one for her too?? I don't really know. I was in the class, and I was actually designing a piece for everyone in my mind.... Of course not all the designs got finished, but her piece is one.....

Gem: CZ-Premium

The design is nice and I would like to wear it. But the design made the stone easy to fell off..... so.......... forget it.

Gem: Garnet

Like this ring a lot, however, I lost it right after the summer session ends.... >_<

Gem: Simulated Tourmaline

The only right that's toooooo small even for my pinky... haha.... it is an experimental piece for the gem setting technique.

Gem: CZ

A piece I made while I was playing around trying out different types of stone setting.

Gem: Amethyst

Saw this type of stone setting on a magazine, so I decided to try is..... the amethyst was set in place just my the pressure from both side of the ring. Also a ring I wears quite often.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

I started working with silver back in highschool when first made a pendant for someone. Coming into college, I started to wonder the traditional way of jewelry design, thus took a class in summer 2002. Ever since, I have been making pendants for people around me. One of the graduate student once told me that I should never give my work away to other people. This concept might be true for many artists, but does not apply to me. My sole reason for making jewelry would be giving to my friends. This might be why I never work as hard in assigned jewelry assignment but work hours after hours for pendants that are not graded at all.

Title: Flow
To: Alison
Date: Feb-12-2002
This is the 2nd person for whom I made a jewelry. Feb-12 is Alison's birthday; therefore, this piece is a b-day present for her. Is there any special meaning behind this piece? I don't think there is. It is quite pointless (I think) to make a jewelry piece and just keep it to myself. So here she is. Another person that I'm willing to present my work. She promised to wear it if I do make a necklace for her. I hope I'll see her wearing this necklance. That would be more than a thousand 'thank you.'
I don't quite know why I name it 'Flow.' I like the movement of the line in this piece; therefore, I name it 'flow.' I was thinking of using a cubic zerconia instead of the blue crystal. But at the end, I decided to go with the blue because this piece was originally designed to be with blue crystal and Alison said she likes blue. (why does everyone including me like blue?)

I made this ring for myself. One reason is because I feel like earing a ring. Another reason is because I hadn't done Jewelry for about half an year, so I want to have some practice. I like blue, and I think the shape of that crystal is quite interesting. So I designed the ring to fit the cubic crystal.
This is the first piece of jewelry that I didn't 'glue' the crystal ^o^

Title: Angel Wings
To: Keiko
Date: Jun-13-2001
A set of two rings I made for Keiko and myself. Although it might not look nice >_<, it's representing a pair of wings. She's left handed, so the wing is ont he left side for her ring. Blue crystal, again, she likes blue. The main purpose of this two rings is to replace the lost ring 'memory.'
I did these two rings in three days. Didn't really sleep well, but I guess it's worth it. Didn't know if she realize this or not, but the crystal for her ring is actually brighter than mine. That''s because I fire the two rings with my crystal to keep tha shape.
The meaning for this two ring? Not telling anyone. I belive I'm the only person who knows it. Am I still the special angel?

Title: Memory
To: Keiko
Date: May-2001

So far, even til today (2-2002) the best one I've every made. The desgin took me quite a while. The actual work time on this piece is more than 60 hours. I don't really know how I managed that, but I did. The sad story is that I gave this ring to her on Wed, and it's lost on Fri >< sigh... Which is the reason I made Angel Wings
She likes purple and blue. I originally three crystals, pink, purple, blue. Since she like purple beter, I decided to put it on the ring. The other ring with the pink one, is actually another completed ring, but I realized that the size isn't right, so have to start over again. I totally did the ring 8 times before the final one is done.

Title: Untitled
To: Keiko
Date: Apr-2001
The reason I made this necklace is because I know she wouldn't like to wear the previous one. I still feel like making a necklance that she can actually wear, so I finished this piece in one day, approximately 10 hours.
There's not a title for this piece, mainly because it is not made for a particular purpose. This is the 2nd jewelry I made and is the first one I put a crystal on top.

Title: KC
To: Keiko
Date: Apr-2001
The first piece of jewelry I ever made. I don't really think it is an excelent piece, but it was good. I finished the design during my spring break vacation, and start working on it afterwards.
The design is base on her initial KC. I hope the K is obvious, the C will be backwards. Also, I wrote her name and the year 2001 on the piece. I didn't have a title for this piece. If there should be a title, I'll call it KC, since it's designed base on that.
